Ogilvy PR wins big at 2016 PR Week Asia Awards
HONG KONG — 15 June, 2016 — Ogilvy Public Relations is celebrating tonight after a series of successes at this year’s PR Week Asia Awards held at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong. The awards event brings together the cream of the PR industry and recognises excellence across a range of categories, including brand development, technology, business-to-business and employee communications, among others.
Overall, Ogilvy was crowned Gold for Envrionmental Campaign of the Year and Healthcare Ethical Campaign of the Year. The former saw Ogilvy PR Taiwan collect Gold for its FarEas Tone Telecommunications #MyFutureIsMineToSave campaign, while Ogilvy PR Health Australia and Saatchi & Saatchi with Janssen Australia was awarded Gold for Schizophrenia: Don’t Be Left in the Dark.
Work from across the region was recognized, with Silver awarded to Ogilvy PR Singapore with Kimberly-Clark Asia Pacific for Responsible Forestry, Environmental Campaign of the Year; as well as Ogilvy PR Hong Kong with Mead Johnson Nutrition for Vital Step: Raising Awarenesss of a Fatal Newborn Illness, Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign of the Year.

Within the region, Ogilvy PR was shortlisted with 18 entries in 16 categories, with ten nominations in Australia, three in Hong Kong, two in China, one in Philippines, one in Singapore and one in Taiwan.
