Dutch And Japanese Trade Federation (DUJAT) Names Weber Shandwick’s Takeo Nishitani Japan Representative And Secretary General
TOKYO, 19 May 2010 – Weber Shandwick Japan Chairman, Takeo Nishitani, was recently named Japan representative and secretary general of the Dutch and Japanese Trade Federation (Dujat). Nishitani will represent Dujat in Japan, coordinating its relationships with member companies and advisory board members, with the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo, and with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
Takeo Nishitani has served Weber Shandwick with distinction for more than 37 years as an exceptional leader and highly respected practitioner in Japan. For more than four decades he has maintained rewarding relationships with Dutch leaders in business, politics and academics – bonds that were strengthened recently when Takeo organized the first-ever exhibition of Japaneses sumo in the Dutch capital to honor 400 years of Dutch-Japanese trade relations.
